                     On my first day of lecture, I expect that I am going to learn how to manage a business as in how the things goes around in an company. Yes, my expectation was correct. Management is defined as the process of dealing with or controlling things or people. There are many things that are being introduced to everyone on the first day of lecture. I was getting excited with the module since the beginning of the semester. This is because I am going to major in international business and marketing which this module is important for me. After 12 weeks, I am happy with the module. I have gained a lot of information by learning management. In most of the topic, there is the use of function of management that is P, O, L, C which stands for planning, organizing, leading and control. This four-function management is the basic information that everyone should know in order to proceed to the next topic of the module. Without the basics, I could not continue to the next topic because most of the chapters are related to this four-functions. Our assignment given to us is a little difficult but there is some help of lecture notes and consultations to improve our assignment content. In our assignment, we also have applied some component of these functions in our report that is leading. In our assignment, there is motivation and leadership is applied into our report. This is because in every company have leading function around the company. Besides that, I was satisfied about the module because I have learned a lot of things about management that I could apply in the future. In my opinion, I believe that introduction to management is very important for our working life. This is because we must apply the concept of planning in our daily life. Hence, we could plan out what we should do throughout the day. This is to ensure that we would not counter any problems throughout the day. For example, if an individual is given a task assignment to do and he/she did not plan further ahead to complete the assignment. Thus, this will make he/she have no time or may be even rushing on completing his assignment. Without he/she planning, he would not have time for the task given to him. With rushing doing an assignment, he/she may be completing the assignment not correctly as in messy, not correctly arranged, not enough content and many more. This is why we should plan from the beginning in order to avoid all the problems and able to complete our task perfectly. Not only had that but it will be easier for us if we have plan our things. Hence, management may very useful and a great help in our daily life in the future.
